Problem: Synology DS211J was showing up in Windows 10 File Explorer but I was unable to access the folder by double clicking. I kept getting the following error message: Error code: 0x80070035 – The network path was not found. I was able to access the Disk Station via the web browser but not in Windows File Explorer.
The Solution that worked for me:
1. Log into Synology DS211J
2. Control Panel / File Services / Advanced Settings
3. Change Maximum SMB Protocol from SMB1 to SMB3
4. Click Apply
This worked and I can now access the Synology DS211J via Windows 10 File Explorer!
