Locating files created by Wine on a Mac

If you ever need to run a Windows .exe (executable) file on a Mac, use a useful program called ‘Wine’ to open and run the file. It’s sometimes quite tricky to find where to find the files generated by Wine – follow the instructions below to locate the Wine related files.

With Wine running and an open finder window use the following keyboard shortcut

Shift – Command – G

The when prompted enter :  ~/.wine/drive_c/

This will open the Wine / Drive C directory and you’ll be able to locate any saved files created by Wine.
