Latest Update - The Stillness Of Time Travel - posted 26th January 2012
I think I say this every year, but this will be the year I have a real push with the artwork and music. First off I've made some small changes to the look of brianpedley.com (so small are these changes that you probably wont even notice them!). We now have a Facebook link (click here to 'like me' on Facebook), a link to my Twitter page (yes Mr Blow I will get round to Tweeting!), I've also created a Youtube channel to host my 3d animations. Soundcloud has also been added and I plan to start posting old and even (gulp) some new music over the coming months. Finally I now have a linked-in page if you'd like to connect with me and Pedleyonline!Even though I've been snowed under with webwork on Pedleyonline (I mustn't grumble) I've had chance to work on some exciting illustration projects in 2011.
The main project was a new book from the very talented (and patient) A J Maddicott, called The Stillness of Time Travel (or TSOTT) - available at all good online retailers! - please support TSOTT on Facebook and visit the official website here. Tales of Grin Book Cover! - posted 8th January 2012
It was great to work again with writer John Skinner this time for the cover illustration of his soon to be released children's E-book 'Tales Of Grin'. A strange tale set in a fantasy world filled with giant insects - perfect dark subject matter for me to get my teeth into!Well here goes with some New Years Resolutions for 2012!
1. Find more time to paint and make pictures!
2. Get some new music finished and online...there's a possibility of some musical collaborations on the way which should be exciting....and may provide the extra push I need.
3. Buy a new iMac - will need to keep up the pressure with Lou until she finally gives in!
4. Finish the reworking of the Pedleyblog - this is being created using Wordpress. As always personal projects always fall to the back of queue of the paid work.
5. Walk the dog (Ellie) more!
6. Update the blog - (more than twice a year)
7. Tweet - yes I will do one soon!
